A comprehensive two-day, face-to-face course designed to equip healthcare professionals with the advanced knowledge and practical skills to manage critically ill or injured children — including those in respiratory failure, circulatory collapse, or cardiac arrest. The course aligns with the latest RCUK EPALS guidelines and combines theory, interactive learning, and realistic simulation scenarios.

Course Format

  • 2 full days (in-person) training at our Manchester academy
  • Hands-on skill sessions using SimMan, airway trainers, and paediatric manikins
  • Tutor-led workshops, team-based drills, and scenario simulations
  • Interactive discussions and immediate debrief after each practical station
  • Mandatory pre-course e-learning via Resuscitation Council UK LMS

Assessment & Certification

  • Continuous practical assessment throughout both days
  • Final MCQ and scenario-based simulation assessment
  • On completion, receive a Resuscitation Council UK EPALS Certificate (valid for 4 years)
  • Accepted for NHS portfolios, CPD, revalidation, and professional registration
