First aid training in Manchester for workplaces, childcare and everyday life
PLAB Guide Training Centre runs first aid courses in Manchester from our training room on Moseley Road in Levenshulme, South Manchester. You might be your workplace's appointed first aider, work with babies and young children, or simply want the confidence to act in an emergency. Either way, you'll find the right course below.
Our first aid qualifications are awarded by QualSafe Awards, and PLAB Guide is a QualSafe Awards Approved Centre (centre number 908553). Every course is hands-on: you practise on training manikins and equipment rather than just watching slides.
Which first aid course do you need?
- Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) suits lower-risk workplaces where your first aid needs assessment calls for an emergency first aider.
- First Aid at Work (FAW) is the fuller workplace qualification. It covers a wider range of injuries and illnesses, for higher-risk settings or larger teams.
- Paediatric First Aid is for nursery staff, childminders, nannies, school staff and parents who care for infants and children.
