Resuscitation Council UK courses at an approved centre in South Manchester
PLAB Guide Training Centre is a Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) Approved Centre, running RCUK courses in Manchester from our training room on Moseley Road, Levenshulme. RCUK sets the national resuscitation guidelines used across UK healthcare, and every course on this page follows its current guidance and course structure.
When you pass, you receive an RCUK certificate for that course, the same credential issued at every approved centre in the country.
RCUK courses we run
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) is for recognising and treating the deteriorating adult and starting resuscitation.
- Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) brings the same immediate approach to infants and children.
- ILSi is the next step for ILS providers who want to teach.
- European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) covers advanced management of critically ill and injured children.
