PLAB Guide Limited – Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to any and all services provided by PLAB Guide Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1.2 By registering on our website or by booking any course or service, you (“the candidate,” “you,” or “your”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 You are responsible for reviewing these Terms and Conditions in full before enrolling. PLAB Guide Limited takes no responsibility for informing you of the contents herein; negligence or ignorance is not an excuse.

2. Course Bookings and Confirmation

2.1 Your course booking is confirmed once you have paid the course fee in full.
2.2 You must receive an automated confirmation email to finalize your booking. Please keep this email for your records.
2.3 If you do not receive a confirmation email, it is your responsibility to contact us at admin@plabguide.co.uk to verify your booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds – Foundation Course and Smart Course

3.1 Cancellation Requests

  • To cancel your booking, you must submit a written request via email to admin@plabguide.co.uk, clearly stating the reason for cancellation.

3.2 Cancellation Fees

  • Cancellation within 3 days of booking: A £50 deduction from the total paid.
  • Cancellation after 3 days of booking: A £100 deduction from the total paid.
  • Cancellation within the last week before the start date of the course (for individually discounted bookings): No refunds will be granted. Different Terms and Conditions may apply for group-discounted bookings (see Section 5).
  • Cancellation of any discounted course: No refunds will be granted on cancellations of any course or service booked on a discount.

3.3 No Cancellations After One Week of Enrollment

  • After seven (7) days from the date of your booking (enrollment), no cancellation requests will be accepted, even if you have not yet started or attended any part of the course. Non-attendance is not grounds for a refund.

3.4 Refund Processing

  • All eligible cancellations or refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 to 28 working days from the date we confirm your refund (not from the date you submit the request).

4. Cancellations & Refunds – Mocks

4.1 No Refunds for Mocks

  • We do not offer cancellations or refunds for any booked mock sessions.
  • If you choose to cancel your mock, you will forfeit any fees paid for that mock.

5. Cancellations by Group Members

5.1 If you booked any course using a group discount, a cancellation request will apply to all group members enrolled together.
5.2 We will cancel the entire group’s enrollment and process any applicable refunds after deducting the required cancellation fee(s).
5.3 Retaining Enrollment

  • Any group member(s) wishing to remain enrolled must pay the difference between the group-discounted rate and the standard course fee, in accordance with the cancellation timelines detailed above.

6. Course Changes or Cancellations by PLAB Guide Limited

6.1 Right to Cancel or Reschedule

  • We aim to deliver all courses and events as scheduled. However, in compelling circumstances (e.g., instructor unavailability, public health directives, or unavoidable logistical issues), PLAB Guide Limited reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course.
  • In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

6.2 Unforeseen Circumstances

  • If PLAB Guide Limited is unable to conduct the course due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters), we will offer a guaranteed alternative course date before your planned exam date.
  • If we remain unable to provide any alternative course date before your exam, a reasonable refund may be offered.
  • If an alternative course date is available prior to your actual exam date, no refunds will be issued.

7. Liability

7.1 While we strive to maintain the highest standard of training, PLAB Guide Limited does not guarantee any specific exam outcome or result from attending our courses or using our services.
7.2 PLAB Guide Limited is not liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) you may incur, other than a refund under the Terms and Conditions stated herein.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK.
8.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of UK.
