Why It Matters

Every Minute Counts.

Is Your Team Ready?

Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere — in an office, a warehouse, a school, or a clinic. Bystander CPR within the first 4 minutes can double a victim's chance of survival. Yet fewer than 20% of UK workers have received formal life support training. We're here to change that.

Common Questions

FAQs

Q

What room do we need to provide?

A clear, well-ventilated room with enough floor space for candidates to practise CPR on the floor. A boardroom or training room typically works perfectly. We recommend a minimum of 4m × 4m for a group of 12.

Q

How long does BLS training take?

BLS for non-clinical staff is typically 3–4 hours. We can deliver a half-day session in the morning and a second group in the afternoon, training up to 24 staff in one visit at reduced cost.

Q

Do certificates meet CQC / HSE requirements?

Yes. Our BLS training meets HSE First Aid at Work obligations and is suitable for CQC-regulated services. Our ILS certification is RCUK-approved and fully meets NHS statutory and mandatory training frameworks and CQC requirements for clinical settings.

Q

How far will you travel?

We cover the entire UK. Travel costs are included in your bespoke quote. For sites outside the North West, a travel supplement may apply — we'll be transparent about this upfront.

Q

Can we set up an annual rolling contract?

Absolutely — in fact we encourage it. ILS certificates are valid for 1 year and BLS for 1–2 years depending on your organisation's policy. We'll contact you ahead of renewal to keep your team compliant year-round, with preferential pricing for repeat clients.

Q

What is the difference between EFAW and FAW first aid courses?

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a 1-day course covering essential life-saving skills — ideal for lower-risk workplaces such as offices. First Aid at Work (FAW) is a 3-day course covering a wider range of injuries and conditions, required for higher-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, and warehousing. Not sure which applies to your organisation? Use our free First Aid Requirements Calculator to find out in under 2 minutes.

Q

Is a purchase order accepted?

Yes. We work with NHS trusts, GP federations, private sector businesses and sole traders. We accept PO numbers, BACS transfer, and card payment. Invoices are issued promptly for your finance team.
