Resuscitation Faculty
Our resuscitation faculty deliver Resuscitation Council UK accredited courses — ILS, PILS, ILSi and EPALS — as an RCUK Approved Centre. Every instructor holds current RCUK instructor status and practises clinically alongside teaching.

Jamie is a senior healthcare education leader shaping organisational learning, workforce capability and patient safety across acute and emergency care systems. A Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators and Fellow of Advance HE, he provides recognised academic leadership in curriculum design, faculty development and governance-aligned education strategy.
As a Resuscitation Council UK ALS and EPALS Course Director and GIC Educator, Jamie leads nationally accredited resuscitation education that strengthens multidisciplinary performance and organisational resilience. Through active clinical practice and strategic educational leadership, he builds learning cultures that develop safer, more confident and future-ready clinical teams.

Senior Resuscitation Instructor
Simon brings over 25 years of clinical experience in anaesthetics — including adult and paediatric cardiac theatres — intensive care and emergency response across NHS and independent healthcare settings. As a former Senior Resuscitation Officer, he has extensive experience delivering Resuscitation Council UK adult and paediatric life support training to healthcare professionals from a wide range of clinical backgrounds.
Since qualifying as an instructor in January 2017, Simon has served as faculty on ALS, ILS, EPALS and PILS courses. His clinical practice covers managing deteriorating patients, attending cardiac arrests, supporting adult and paediatric anaesthetic emergencies, undertaking inter- and intra-hospital transfers, and participating in out-of-hours resuscitation teams.

Haroon is a doctor by background and a Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support Course Director and Instructor, and an EPALS Instructor. He leads ALS course delivery and faculty coordination, and teaches across our adult and paediatric resuscitation programmes.
His combined clinical and course direction experience supports candidates from medical, nursing and allied health backgrounds through both the practical skill stations and the scenario-based assessments.

Resuscitation Instructor — ILS, PILS & EPALS
Rashad is a doctor by background and a Resuscitation Council UK Instructor for Immediate Life Support, Paediatric Immediate Life Support and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support.
He teaches across the full range of courses run at our Manchester centre and on in-house delivery at client sites, with a particular focus on supporting international medical graduates and candidates new to UK resuscitation standards.

Simon supports our regulated first aid provision as an Internal Quality Assurer, sampling assessment decisions and trainer practice to ensure they meet QualSafe Awards requirements.
He brings over 25 years of clinical experience in anaesthetics, intensive care and emergency response, and is also a senior member of our resuscitation faculty.
