Royal College of Surgeons of England training in South Manchester

PLAB Guide Training Centre runs RCS England courses in Manchester from our centre on Moseley Road in Levenshulme. We are a Royal College of Surgeons of England approved regional centre for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

ATLS is the internationally recognised programme for the early management of seriously injured patients. It was developed by the American College of Surgeons and is delivered in the UK through RCS England. It teaches a systematic approach to the first hour of trauma care, so you can assess, prioritise and treat life-threatening injuries with confidence.

Who RCS England trauma training is for

These courses suit doctors who may receive or manage injured patients. That includes those working in emergency medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, anaesthetics and critical care, as well as doctors preparing for training posts where ATLS is expected.
