PLAB Guide Training Centre runs life support, trauma, first aid and clinical skills courses from our centre in Levenshulme, south Manchester. We train doctors, nurses, paramedics and other healthcare professionals, as well as employers, schools, childcare staff and first responders.

Our courses follow the current guidelines and course materials of each awarding body, and every certificate is issued by that body.

Our centre

Training in Levenshulme, Greater Manchester

Our centre is on the second floor of 308 Moseley Road, Levenshulme, a short drive from Manchester city centre, Stockport, Didsbury, Burnage and Gorton. There is free parking on site.

Our training hall seats up to 40 people with tables, or up to 60 without tables.

The same rooms are available to hire for courses, meetings and assessment days. See venue hire. We also rent out a GE Versana Essential ultrasound machine.

Who teaches the courses?

Our courses are taught by accredited instructors who work in clinical practice, including RCUK course directors, senior resuscitation instructors and first aid assessors. Medical appraisals are led by our Lead Appraiser, Dr Mohammed Kamara.

Can you train our staff at our workplace?

Yes. We run group courses at our centre or on site for NHS trusts, GP practices, care providers, schools and employers. Use our group training enquiry form for a quote.
