- Keep it Educational: Focus on communication frameworks, ethical principles, and NHS-based reasoning, not gossip or hearsay.
- Respect & Inclusivity: Value diversity, avoid discrimination, and engage respectfully with peers from all backgrounds.
- No Advertising: Avoid promotional posts, course links, or external adverts without prior permission.
- Seek Support Professionally: For help or concerns, contact the PLAB Guide Academy team directly rather than posting grievances publicly.
Posting Etiquette
- Use clear and descriptive titles (e.g., “Breaking Bad News – SPIKES framework”).
- Share frameworks, not memorised answers (e.g., ABCDE, SBAR, Calgary–Cambridge).
- Reference trusted NHS or NICE sources when discussing guidelines.
- Report inappropriate or unsafe content to moderators.
Moderator note: Posts breaching confidentiality or professionalism may be removed. Repeated violations can lead to restricted access to preserve a safe learning environment.
