The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated, one-day qualification designed for employees who may be appointed as emergency first aiders within the workplace.
The course provides candidates with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to assess an incident, manage an emergency and provide immediate first aid until professional medical assistance arrives.
Emergency First Aid at Work training enables a first aider to provide emergency assistance to someone who is injured or becomes ill at work. Employers must assess their workplace first-aid needs and provide appropriate equipment, facilities and trained personnel.
What You Will Learn
During the course, candidates learn how to:

Employers should select the appropriate level of first-aid training after completing a workplace first-aid needs assessment. EFAW may be suitable where that assessment identifies a need for emergency first-aid provision rather than the broader First Aid at Work qualification.

Booking or attending the course does not automatically guarantee successful completion.
Certification
Successful candidates receive the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF).
The qualification certificate is valid for three years. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended to help first aiders maintain their practical skills and confidence.
Candidates should complete appropriate requalification training before their certificate expires.
